Justin Brown, PhD, is Senior Director of Business Development at Circular Genomics, where he leads strategic partnerships and growth initiatives at the intersection of neuroscience and precision medicine. He brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, and translational science, with domain expertise in neuropharmacology and molecular diagnostics.

Prior to joining Circular Genomics, Justin was among the first employees at Strata Oncology, where he was instrumental in leading initiatives that enabled genomic testing for over 80,000 patients with cancer. Earlier in his career, Justin co-founded a specialized contract research organization focused on respiratory drug discovery in partnership with the UNC Marsico Lung Institute. He also held business development roles at a venture-backed biotechnology company and contributed to company formation efforts at leading academic institutions.

​Justin earned his PhD in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed an NSF Postdoctoral Fellowship in Bioentrepreneurship at Washington University in St. Louis.​
