Mr. Cook currently serves as Cofounder and Managing Director at Mountain Group Partners, a Nashville-based venture capital firm focused predominantly on early-stage investments in life sciences. Prior to his involvement with Mountain Group Partners, Mr. Cook was a director, private placements in the investment banking group of Robert W. Baird & Co. in Nashville from January 2001 through February 2003. Previously, Mr. Cook was a vice president in the investment banking group at J.C. Bradford & Co. in Nashville. Mr. Cook graduated with a BA in economics from Davidson College. In addition to serving on the board of Circular Genomics, Mr. Cook currently serves on the board of directors of Advanced Animal Diagnostics, Cerebrotech, Mindera, and Southeastern Life Sciences Association. He also serves on the advisory board of the Nashville Capital Network.
